In the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 travel and local apps in Oman showed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s an overview of how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Masarrah App - Oman Chalets experienced fluctuating weekly downloads. Starting at around 1K downloads in late June, the app saw a peak of approximately 3.3K in the week of July 25. However, downloads tapered off towards the end of the quarter, settling at around 600 by late September.

Earth View 3D had a mixed performance in terms of weekly downloads, starting strong with approximately 1.9K downloads in late June. The downloads saw a dip in mid-August to around 246 but picked up again to reach about 1.6K by mid-September. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at approximately 6.7K and reaching a peak of 8.3K in late August, before stabilizing around 6.9K by the end of September.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw strong download numbers throughout the quarter, beginning at approximately 2.3K in late June and peaking at 3.3K in mid-July. By the end of September, downloads had decreased to around 1.4K. Active user numbers were robust, starting at 44K and peaking at 48.7K in late July, before seeing a slight decline to approximately 44K by the end of the quarter.
